Listings of Dr Seuss Books

Being a child of the 1980’s I have fond memories of my mother reading to me from our collection of Dr. Seuss books in her various silly voices. To this day, nothing reflects a child’s imagination quite like the magic of a classic Dr. Seuss book. Luckily for us, the great writer published a total of 45 incredible children’s books, many of which went on to become bestsellers. In fact, Suess’s books are often credited for the inspiration behind a number of iconic franchises such as “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” for example. So, if you have youngins of your own, as I do, then you might appreciate this complete list of Dr. Seuss books as part of your reading to-do list.

It pleases me that to this day, there is still so much interest in Dr. Seuss’s books. Dr. Seuss’s work has shown children around the world that reading can be just as entertaining as watching cartoons. Getting our children excited about reading early can be one of the most influential things we can do for them, that is, before the classroom ruins reading for them entirely!

Anyway, I sincerely hope that the Dr. Seuss books contained in this list have the same lasting effect on your family that they’ve had on mine. Either way, always remember to “be who you are and say what you mean. Because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” – Dr. Seuss
